Founder's Note:
As a Marine Corps Veteran, former military contractor, and successful small business owner, I have spent many years simplifying complex technical systems for non-technical users in high-pressure environments. With roots in the trades industry through immediate family members (and some first-hand experience in the field myself), I am also deeply familiar with the real-world pressures small trades businesses face.
After eight years in the Marine Corps focusing on force deployment planning and execution, I served as a Systems Integration Analyst for SAIC, delivering frontline technical support for complex command-and-control systems in combat operations centers. I quickly became the go-to expert on unfamiliar systems, and earned multiple Letters of Appreciation. Later, I founded GPS Dawg, a company that provided custom GPS tracking solutions, technical training, and hands-on support. I grew it from zero to over 700 clients in under two years, with zero debt or outside investment, while personally managing all operations, training and support, and maintaining 100% positive customer feedback.
